The wedding was so awesome! Everything was perfect and it didn't rain, and Laura looked like she had stepped straight out of a fairytale :o) I can't wait to see the photos (Tristan is an actual genius) and video. The tone of the whole thing was just right, and the food and music were perfect - couldn't have hoped for a better day, although I won't pretend I didn't cry a little bit. The overall effect was that everyone was in a super loved up chilled out mood, except for Rob, who got a bit emotional and wanted to set a date for our wedding the next day. I'm sticking to my guns though: no wedding until I'm qualified with a stable job. Then we'll talk :o)
In other good news; we're picking up the keys the new flat at 9 tomorrow morning, and our new washing machine and fridge (super-cool deal from the fridge shop) are being delivered at lunchtime. Finally feels like stuff's coming together :o) We do have a garden, so we'll hopefully be having a house-warming BBQ before the weather cools down too much. Everyone will be invited. I know Eastbourne's a bit of a trek, but it'd mean a lot to us if people made the effort to come. I'm going to be so snowed under this coming year, I might not see people too often, and it's only 1/2 an hour by tain, and the flat's walking distance from Eastbourne station.
Also, can people please keep Saturday the 14th of October free? It's my birthday weekend, so I'm planning on having people over to the flat for a little party :o) Nothing massive, but it's the first time ever I don't have to worry about pissing off flatmates, and I intend to make to most of it :o)
This moving business means that I will hopefully be able to travel up to Cheltenhham for Hanka and Sam's combined party, which would make me very happy.
Hooray for things working out!
