Liam sent me a cheque for the full amount that he owes me! And it's not post-dated or anything! For the first time since I've known him I feel like he's finally made my needs a priority. The feelings of victory are somewhat limited, being that I did have to take him to court to even get his attention, but hey: I get my money back, and he gets to not be a total CUNT anymore. Everyone's a winner :o)
And, after careful consideration, I have decided to use the money for something specific that I really want, so that I can have something tangible and positive to take from the whole horrible experience. More news on that later, I don't want to jinx it...
Last night I said goodbye to Gareth, probably for a while. Very strange. I only really see him at parties, so gathering-type-things will feel odd for a while. Never mind, it's a good excuse to visit foreign parts if I ever make my fortune.
I have spent the whole of today in bed reading and playing with my animals. Brodie appears to have reached a plateau. She's not improving, and she probably won't, but she's getting no worse, and missioning about just like herself. She could carry on like this for weeks This makes me happy.
Unfortunately it is now time to face the outside world, in the form of a family BBQ. Joy :o)
I've got loads to tell people actually, but neither the will or the brain-power to write it all out.
