[It's just as well. Argilla is silent after she hears that question, and realizes what Jinana saw.]
"It's...Not quite what happened. I didn't kill him."
['But I almost wish I had,' her expression says for her.]
"He died when we blew up the ship he was in...I fought him before that, but it...Didn't go so well. What he said was mostly the same, though."
[Her hand clenches around the Dreamberry as she says that, tight enough that her knuckles go white. It says something about how well the object is designed that it hold up against that and getting thrown into walls.]
[She certainly doesn't look much calmer after hearing that. If anything, Argilla seems to bristle when she hears Jinana blame herself. They've talked about this before, but that little detail does nothing to keep her head clear.]
"How the hell can you do that!? He's the one that sold you out!"
That is why I should have seen it. I should have realized something was wrong.
-=truthfully, she probably wasn't capable of it at the time, one could not truly understand emotion if they were devoid of them. Now she makes sure to pay attention to every little thing=-
Your words mean much to me...
-=and she too is brought back to that dream, wondering what it would be like to have Argilla at her side=-
I just know that now, I will not make the same mistakes again.
[Argilla looks like she's ready to argue...But that odd half-praise, half-declaration makes her pause, and her objections suddenly vanish from her mind.
Her hand goes up for a moment and stretches out...Which is ridiculous, because Jinana isn't there next to her. But when she draws it back, she's managed to gather some of her thoughts, which are a little less agitated.]
"I...Meant them. You're someone I trust and...Want to be the same as."
[That makes the memory of her dream sting for a moment, and she quickly swallows a knot trying to form in her throat.]
"If that's the case...Then I'll make sure your trust isn't betrayed again, as well."
[It's strange, how hearing that makes her relax a little more, and eases out some of that tension left from her dream. It doesn't follow any logic...But that's starting to be a common thing when speaking with Jinana, and Argilla doesn't feel the need to change it.
She touches the place above her Atma, where there's a calm, almost warm feeling radiating out, very different from any hunger.]
That is... what happened to him?

-=she has no idea how to calm the other woman, Bat is reasonably a sore spot for all of them=-
I blame myself.

It does not excuse him for what he did, but he is my second. My responsibility.

[A lot of the Laws have changed, or been cast aside...But she still doesn't want to let go of that one.]
"You valued your soldiers and their lives, not like Mick, or Varin. You're...You were worth following."
[Argilla doesn't quite realize how that sounds until after she says that. Or how it brings her mind back to that odd dream.
She still keeps her eyes locked on the Dreamberry, even as that thought makes them flicker for a moment, looking uncertain.]

Do not be like me, Argilla. Be like you.

[She has to consider her words for a moment, and there's an awkward pause as she does that.]
"I'd like to have more in common with you, then with someone...Like Bat."
[Her eyes narrow as she says that, but she's able to blink and clear her expression so she isn't glaring at Jinana.]

I believe you already are.
