[Argilla doesn't look like she's in a good state. Her breathing is ragged, her entire body is tense, and her arm is still stretched out and shaking from that throw.
Meet your nightmare, Argilla. It's going to be a long-time and uncomfortable companion.]
"Don't know-"
[Her voice is shaky, to match her body.]
"...What the hell was that!?"
[She looks away from where the Dreamberry is laying to where Cielo is.]
[Her eyes flick over at the Dreamberry for a moment, and then back to Cielo before she tries to smash the thing into a wall, or something equally rash.]
"I...That bastard Bat was in it. It was like the ship all over again."
[She'd won that fight in her dream but...The phrase 'Pyrrhic victory' instantly flickers up in her mind. She still hadn't been able to prove him wrong about their differences, either.]
[She just hates that they hadn't managed to kill a few other things there as well. Maybe then she wouldn't have this tight knot between her chest and her stomach, and sour taste in the back of her mouth.
Argilla tries to ignore both, and let her arm drop.]
"You're not worried about what he said at all, are you?"
[She sees that he's smiling, even in the dim light of the base...But it's hard to mirror that, even slightly.]
-=neglects to inform her that he was actually here for a while and actually asked him for girl advice=-
Nah...
-=reaches over and tugs her closer again, because it was cold and because Gale had held him when he was upset and it made him feel a lot better=-
Even if we are de same, it aint what we do dat's important, tink it's de why we do it! I tink it's one ting ta do bad tings cuz you a bad person, but different when you do tings cuz you gotta.
-=he hooks his chin over her shoulder, peeking up at her as a braid falls in his face=-
We are de same dat we gotta devour, but he hurt de people he supposed ta care about de most! We take care a people, ya? So we ain't really de same at all.
[She goes tense for a moment when she hugs her...But then the memories come back of doing the same for Sera, and Jinana. This feels similar at least, and snuffs out some of that hurt. It only takes her a moment to relax again, and listen.
Argilla gives him an odd look as his words sink in. It's a bit hard to believe this is the same person that decides to hang upside down from buildings in the middle of storms.]
"...You almost sound like Serph."
[There's a little more warmth in her voice as she says that.]
"I...Can see some of what you say, too."
[And even though she still has that knot, it isn't as tight as before.]
[She hasn't noticed the cold just yet. The images from that dream still take up a lot of her attention, and any shaking she might still have is left over from when she woke up.]
"...You can't deny that it isn't true. We've all devoured, for the sake of surviving. I wouldn't be dreaming about it, if it didn't bother me."
Jinana ain't dat different. She's good people, ya? So're you! I'd run away before I'd hurt me comrades and I know you would too! When de demon takes control it ain't you no more. So you ain't doing nuttin bad! Just gotta make sure dat don' happen, ya?
-=rubs at the back of his neck, hoping he was making some sense=-
"I just...Wish we didn't have to deal with this any longer. We wouldn't have to worry about the demons, or that crap Bat said."
[Her hand drifts over her Atma mark as she says that. And she can't help but curse a little; her emotions are still frayed...And if ever there was someone that deserved some swearing, it was Bat.
Then she looks over at Cielo.]
"You don't have to. It's probably warmer in here, too."
Wha- What goin on? Argilla?

[It might be a lost cause with trying to cheer her up right now. Especially now that she's thinking back on those two people.]
"Because she didn't devour anyone, she..."
[Argilla trails off, and forces her hands to relax. They've bunched into fists on their own.]
"...She's not the same as us, anyway. But I know that we would've hurt our own comrades if we didn't eat. It's..."
[She bites down on a growl.]
"...It's disgusting, and I don't know what the right answer is."
[Argilla shrugs the blanket back off, and starts to stand.]
"I think I need to get outside. I'm just thinking in circles...And keeping you up."
[Big-sister instincts are also apparently tough feelings to completely squash.]

"...You know that if the kitchen gets set on fire again, we're going to have to put it out ourselves."
[And after a moment more of that look, Argilla finds herself relenting.]
"It's worth trying. Probably better then freezing outside, too."
[And then another thought occurs to her.]
"Aren't you...Supposed to do that on cold nights, too?"
[She doesn't know where that thought came from, but it seems right.]
