One of the things I miss the most might be having the time and the inspiration to write fic... That said, I was glad to have this reason to push myself to make some time-- plus, it was a nice distraction from studying for finals

Another great chapter in the series. I spent the last few days re-reading the "All He Ever Wanted" series along with some of your other fics, and I just love them. I really liked the ones that had some darkness in them to go along with the fluff as well: you have a great way of balancing the two, and you write smut well enough that it maintains a symmetry all its own that is perfectly balanced. I loved the little bits of humor in this at the Victory Party, along with Harry and Hermione's flirting. They act now mostly like they did when they were much younger in your fics, except you temper that age difference well and put in a proper supply of insight that still makes it different. I ask myself so many questions when I read (when was the first time Harry saw Hermione naked? When was the last time either one of them were at all unsure about their love - the miscarriage? What is the present Hermione gave him on his 22nd birthday? Will we ever see Luna in a fic?) and that's the sign of not only a great writer, but one who has seduced

I'm glad you're enjoying this series; I'm really enjoying writing it. I'm trying in this series to show that H/Hr's relationship and their interaction hasn't changed much but has only matured and deepened with the years. As for your questions, I can't answer them all (mostly because I haven't worked out for myself yet all those details) but I will tell you that, yes, you will see Luna in a fic-- at least a cameo of sorts since I'm never entirely sure how to write her. And at some point, I definitely plan to answer the question of how H/Hr got together in this universe.
And, wow, you called me a great writer! I'm absolutely honored; thank you.
Until I can write my Doctoral/Masters Thesis (I'm not sure if my adviser will let me wait on it or not) disproving "opposites attract" and the stupidity of Hermione/Ron once and for all
Really? You're going to 'prove' the fallacy of R/Hr? Wow.
I've always labelled the R/Hr relationship as written strictly according to the "lazy TV sitcom writer's handbook" - "how best to show the attraction? Oh, okay, have them fight like cats and dogs, that surely means true love, great, is it lunch time yet?". But I really am not convinced of the 'fighting means true love' trope that's employed by that scenario. I think "opposites fight" is a lot more certain than "opposites attract". And certainly much more so than "opposites have a deep and enduring relationship as equals".
But it will be nice to have a thesis to back all this up!!
Re your finals - what are you studying, if I may ask?
I really do like the Bingblot!version of Harry's family; the kids are delightful. As is the solid, stable, 150% happy H/Hr marriage.
I was quite sure that Harry would have wanted to pay particular emphasis on getting Hermione out of that dress - his way - because by the time he got there I sort of wanted to also. :-) It was all your fault for the detail you gave us on her putting it on in the first place.
Nice how you had them both 'rescue' each other from bores and flirts.
but for her sake, for her continuing interest in political reforms, he always made an effort to find out any current issues to tell her about them. Not because she asked him to but simply because he knew her.
I really liked that bit, it really stood out to me. Compared with the canon version of Harry that we ended up with it's always very pleasing to be presented with a loving and *considerate* Harry in a fanfic.
