So I'm still taken, despite the fact that we had a huge problem; we resolved it though. I am still quite addicted to something. Like two days ago, Justin and I went to a few guitar places and tried out a bunch of guitars. We must've been gone at least eight hours, with me playing for six hours or more. I tried out an ESP Viper 30th Anniversary, Epiphone Les Paul Lynard Skynard Edition, Les Paul Ultra, Faded SG, Warwick Corvette fretless bass, some Ibanez hollowbodies, a couple B.C. Rich Mockingbirds, a few Epiphone hollowbodies, a couple Jackson electrics; yeah, a lot of playing. Here is the story though: I found the best guitar and bass I have played. The Faded SG is my guitar. The action is nice, I love the finish, and it plays so well. The Warwick Corvette fretless bass has to be my most unique bass experience too. Don't get me wrong, I could feel the power when I picked up the holy grail of my dream basses (A Thunderbird), but this bass is unique in its own way, since it is fretless and natural. I felt like this bass was my form of bass. Not many basses have that effect on me. Gibson's usually do, which is why I love Gibson basses and guitars. This Warwick was so nice though, all natural finish, I'll post a picture of it. I still love the Thunderbird though. If I had the Thunderbird I would be so happy. Anyway, about the Faded SG; this SG has a special feel to it, with the faded finish and satin coat on it. It felt so natural to me, I'd love to have that guitar as a form of insurance on my SG I have now. I'll show a picture of that too; well, the one I played.
