i just talked the front desk woman at the holiday inn down 30 dollars for my hotel room. i'm very proud, though i wasn't actually intending to do it so i guess i can't really take credit. but it's a nice room, and maybe the first time i've actually had mints on my pillow. imagine. i thought it was like the loch ness monster: people claim to have seen it and talk about it, but it doesn't actually exist.

i'm deleriously tired. to bed!
