I'm back :) !
Hi !
Guess who's alive and kicking !
So my hiatus , which I forgot to even mention , is over . So many things have happened ...
And I couldn't have had more photos to post !
I decided to post about yesterday and then slowly work my way through the last few months .
School's over (I got only As,so hello incredibly small but enough to buy one meal scholarship) and I woke up a little early for a summer day . 11 o'clock . I love those times when 11 o'clock is early ! I basically did nothing for a few hours , I don't even remember what I did . Hah , it will deffinitely be hard to write about things that happened 2 months ago since I have problems with the oh so not very distant past .
I was then off to a village near Plovdiv to photograph seven puppies and their mother . I don't know the name of the breed in English , but it's a hunting one , so the dogs had to be posed in a VERY specific way . And I though posing people was difficult ...
Then I helped the owner (a friend of my parents) post an offer for them on the internet . Really cute dogs , but since there are 7 of them , he can't take proper care of all of them . I hope they find a good home :) .
There's a stork's nest on the roof of the next house , so I couldn't help taking some photos, even though the light couldn't be worse (hate that midday harsh light !)

After that we went for a short drive along the Maritza river . The owner of the dogs took me to a good bird spot , but since it was only about 5 o'clock , there weren't a lot of birds . He saw two Hooppоes , but by the time I got out of the car , they were gone .
A few minutes before that , I saw my first Roller ! I was so excited , but since I feel a little (more like a lot) uncomfortable around people I don't know very well , I wasn't my usual "I saw a *insert your choosen bird species here* , I saw it , I saw it ! Oh my , I can't believe it , I saw it !" . I guess you could say I was excited on the inside ;p . I took a few quick photos from the car , not my greatest , but since it's my first Roller photos , they have emotional value ;p .
I think it's a female (or a possible youngster? I bet on female though) since the blue is rather pale .
Two white egrets flew by in the distance and two dippers + many turtle doves pretty much sum up the "birds seen" list . And why are the turtle doves named like that ? What's the connection between a dove and a turtle ? Seriously , if anyone could explain that , I'd be really thankful xD !
I was then dropped off at the Mall where I met my mother , ate a sandwich really quickly , while waiting for my brother and sister to arrive and then it was off to the cinema .
As usual , we were late and we were all like "You - get the popcorn . You-tickets . You - ... hey where's your brother ?! Kid missing , where's he ?!"
"I'm right here."
"Good, give me the tickets !"
"But I wasn't supposed to get the tickets !"
"Mooom , I'm thirsty."
"Well , drink water then."
"But there's no water..."
"Why didn't you get it?!"
And this conversation ended after 5 minutes with the four of us running with popcorn flying all around us and drinking water while running towards the ... whatever the big room where you actually watch the movie is called xD .
We watched Ice Age 3 and I really liked it , I loved Sid !
So me being me I actually wrote half of this yesterday , but I got sleepy , so I saved the post and just replaced all the "todays" with "yesterday" lol . I'm off to clean up my room and then the big sorting through photos and eventually editting htem starts ... Wish me luck , cause I'll seriously need it ;p !
