This is all mostly for my own edification.
Mileage: ~16,240
Changed oil to 5w30 (drained filter but did not change - still under 2,000 miles since last change)
Replaced and adjusted Thermostat (previous had failed)
Adjusted clutch
Adjusted accelerator cable (had ~1/4-3/8" slack in it - wonder if this is the lack of SOP HP i've been feeling)
Verified timing (still running stock '71 dizzy with only advance port connected)
Cleaned and lubed clutch pivot arm
Sprayed down pedal assemblies with Silicon spray, squirted some in the Bowden tube as well
Insulated main heater tube
Partially insulated front pan
Wiped down engine as best as I could
Replaced screws on fresh air intake to passenger compartment
Cleaned out cabinet
Removed sump oil temp sender
Recent stuff:
verified air/fuel mix earlier in the week
Things noted:
slight oil leak around #2 cylinder - could be leaky oil cooler hoses or something else, need to keep an eye on it
exhaust clamp missing on #4 exhaust port
tin could be tighter on #3/#4 side
I think that's it for the bus stuff.
I'm sick (got a cold), super busy (work, bus stuff, and home life), and well, pretty damn happy.
Need to post on recent trip to Stargaze, Chateau Muffy, the Clarke Compound, and E&C's Moonshine Garden but still organizing thoughts and it's a little low on the priority list at the moment.
