Notes to Self

Feb 13, 2007 09:31

1. It's time for the studded snow tires. Seriously.

2. Pulling the hand brake while one tire is spinning will help the other tire get traction. Poor Man's Posi at the expense of your rear brake shoes.

3. Put a clamp on that pre-heater hose.

4. Insulate the roof. I don't think it's really gonna help much, but get it done. Reinstall headliner when finished.

5. Check to see if door panel is keeping the driver's door from sealing properly.

6. Check for other driver's side door "cold air leaks".

7. Insulate that heat tube.

8. Re-insulate the bus nose.

9. Check heater boxes are wired full open and/or put levers on them and connect them.

10. Verify thermostat? Install CHT sender?

11. Once above-mentioned work is done, find a place for spray undercoating.

In other news, my faithful VW started on the first go and got me to work without any problems (save being cut off once or twice). Woot!
