Huh, that's odd because I definitely set it to public. I think it's done this before so maybe it's something in the settings. It's public now - thanks for pointing it out :)

LJ broke something in one of the last updates. Changing the "regular" security before posting does nothing. The post defaults to the community (or journal) settings. Then you have to go back in and change it.

They've been notified a few times.. but clearly aren't rushing to fix it.
