Toriyama's World is running this new "Say Hello to Jack Black" manga, which is like ER, only hopefully without all the drama. It's pretty neat so far, actually, and it's a manga where you can actually learn shit that you didn't know, that's always nice. Anyway, it's neat, and it's nice to see a different kind of manga.
I'm also reading Death Note which is pretty much a "if you had a notebook that would let you kill anyone in the world at no cost to yourself, just by writing down their names, would you?" and of course, the main character's answer is 'yes'. The rest of the story is cat and mouse as main character sows his 'justice' and everyone else tries to catch him. The characters are fairly boring, lacking things like depth, or what depth they have appears in very narrow areas, since the entire series is literally about this One Thing and never bothers to do anything else, it's mostly clever set ups by the author where everything always goes according to plan, thereby meaning the characters are brilliant. And the art on the demon annoys the shit out of me x.x But the idea is cool, watching it play out is cool, I think it could have been accomplished much better but ah well. It's by the guy who did Hikago, which explains the art if not much else.
And now I go to bed.
