No news is not always good news.
Well, a comment from someone anonymous asked me to update about my missing kitty, and who am I to turn down a stranger's request? Twinkie is still MIA. I miss her. Bunches. I have developed a new compulsion of checking out the back door for her several times a day, always with a fleeting hope that she will be there, sitting just outside the door, and will come running to me when I open it and call to her. But it never happens.
We're supposed to get snow tonight and tomorrow. It makes me cringe to think about poor Twink, outside in the snow, cold and hungry and alone. I will make a point of going outside tonight and/or tomorrow and calling for her along the creek behind the complex. Also, I think the printer is working again, so maybe I can finally print some fliers. I don't have another day off until Wednesday, but maybe then I will go door to door, like I should have done days ago. I hope, if I don't ever find her, that she found a new home and is happy.
