I cried less this week.

I'm wearing a kid's t-shirt. 'Large,' but still.
I think I've lost weight since Austin. At UCR weight.
Have a ways to go.
Good news is that I'm not all-consumed by body-image issues.
They've faded.

Tomorrow, we're meeting the playwright of The Kentucky Cycle.
Today, I read The Kentucky Cycle.

I'm surrounded by fabulous people. My program. The Theatre Department.

NICE GIRLS (severed finger/chicken play) is getting its first production in Houston in December. Tiny theatre company doing it along with 17 other plays, but they read 240, so it's cool.

So many tattoos around here.
And skinny guys in skinny jeans or shorts. Bless them.
