Shotacon animation nowadays are not "anime" but comic dramas.
On the BL side, we have animixes -- what is this trend all about?
Is this the result of low-budget animations?
I don't really understand why animation studios would go through with this. I know that even small projects like these cost a lot, but it's just... if you'll animate something, at least go the whole way.
Of course, I'm not saying comic dramas and animixes are bad. Tsukumo Gou's manga, for example, worked well as a comic drama since it was character-centric. After all, it would be boring to watch an anime with a boy talking in his thoughts the whole damn time. In Shounen Maid Kuro-kun though, it was just terrible. Since it's smutty and is totally and utterly considered to be porn (fap material), the best way to enjoy it is an anime. But (I'm guessing) due to low budget, they decided to opt for a comic drama instead? Or is this their way of releasing more shotacon porn in the market?
After seeing Suteki na Shota Days 2 ~ Saigo no Sangatsu and liking it, I wouldn't mind supporting this kind of animation... However, I would always prefer anime. Nothing beats movement, I guess? That goes the same for animixes. I definitely would prefer seeing a Viewfinder anime than an animix one, c'mon
