This is in connection to what I said in my entry two posts back. I discovered art of .hack//G.U. I've never seen before so it somehow got me into the fandom again. (Well, I was never really out of it.)
I was supposed to use a BIWA wallpaper, but then I saw this and saved those BIWA ones for later. XD

Couldn't resist the temptation. Trailer is too INVITING.
Thanks to my new hard drive, Corbenik, I have space again!

Hopefully we're not so busy anymore.
In preparation, I tried combing out my Kaere wig last night, and...
I didn't know it was SO EXHAUSTING. DX
The wig was full of tangles and they were hard to smooth out 'cause the wig was rough to begin with. I'm planning to wash it soon so that I can style it better.
First, I need to buy wig shampoo.

On a related note, I'm very excited for the Reborn photoshoot as well~
I still need a lot of things for Mukuro, so I'm saving up.
So far TYL!Lambo, Iris, Chikusa, Zakuro and Byakuran are confirmed. (And of course, Mukuro. XD) Personally, I want a Ken and a Kikyou (a male one). But I also feel like there should be someone with Lambo. (A Reborn, maybe?)
(Argh, I want to do an Arcobaleno cosplay too!)
Just today, I talked to our Byakuran (who didn't like white) and asked him if he'd go through with it. He said it's a definite yes. The problem is, he didn't know which costume to wear.
Byakuran has 4 visible clothes in the manga so far. In order of appearance:
>> The White Spell Uniform
>> White vest, black dress shirt, and white jeans (in Gesso)
>> Genkishi flashback (Torn long-sleeved shirt (white), a pair of torn jeans, black sleeveless shirt and white boots)
>> Funeral Wreaths Uniform
And what did he choose?
HE CHOSE THE TORN CLOTHES, WTF.
Well, what else would you expect from Ervian.
Of course he'd choose something close to being naked.
So anyway, I denied him and told him to do the 2nd one instead.
He agreed, surprisingly. A cheapskate like him. I never thought he'd ever want to spend his money on Byakuran~

+ Arcobaleno backstory is WIN.
I don't care about the stupid plot hole, the cheap ass fight scenes and the crappy art, the backstory is just... ♥
Luce:
I was pretty surprised about her role in the Arcobaleno.
Not only is she the first person Reborn opened up to, she's also the one who complimented him for his curly sideburns~
I want to know more about her. XD
Fong:
Just as we expected, the complete opposite of Hibari.
Calm, kind, considerate, and gentle.
I love Kondou Takashi's voice when he's voicing him~
Skull:
I think he's more adorable as an Arcobaleno baby. (Because of the voice XD)
Skull's already interesting as he is now, there's really not much to say.
I'm mainly curious as to how he became an Arcobaleno. (C'mon, STRONGEST SEVEN? Even Colonnello didn't get in.)
Viper:
Nothing much.
I never would've guessed someone like him would be such a "money collector" as he phrased. It doesn't look him, y'know. (And his baby voice is... weird)
Lal:
Still the same.
Verde:
WHO KNEW HE WOULD BE SUCH AN ANTAGONIST.
I just liked him for his stubble. And that manly look of his, or sth.
I want a Verde backstory too! He's all research and data, I want more of his personality.
Reborn:
Okay, now this should be expanded. This show should be all about him, after all.
First, his interaction with Luce. When Reborn talks about her, it seems like they were more than just good friends. If there's anyone Reborn would trust his life with, I think it's this woman. Luce seriously needs more info, damn it. (TELL US, YAMAMOTO!)
Next, Reborn looked sexy straightening out his sideburns~ It's the probably the only thing he was insecure with. XD
Also, what I like about Reborn's short narration is that.. it contained so much of his emotions. Emotions we never saw in the baby Reborn. Especially his grudge about being a baby. For someone who was so used to his baby body (even crossdressing at that!), I never would've imagined that he'd hate it so much... And that he even consulted Shamal to erase his memories... It gets you intrigued, yes?
I seriously want this in the manga. Can't Amano-sensei make a detailed version of this in HER ART or something?
