A week ago, I checked out some Digital Devil Saga videos on youtube, specifically the openings (DDS1&2) and some of the music from the soundtracks (which led to me blog about it about 2 posts ago) just because I suddenly missed it. It was then that I realized...
I DIDN'T HAVE THE SOUNDTRACK/S.
Particularly the Integral version they released (containing DDS1&2), which is one of the best works of Shoji Meguro. And that's saying a lot. What I like so much about DDS BGM is that it is bordering on BADASSERY with lots of electric guitar and a mixture of piano.
I was SOOO TEMPTED to buy it online, no matter how expensive it is (4 DISCS, MAN). Unfortunately, I'm going to need the money for a new phone and have to settle for downloading it instead. So I did.
And damn, I can't get enough of it.
Best tracks are Hunting - Betrayal (Disc 04), Battle for Survival (Disc 03), and Heroic Battle (Disc 04). LOL, they're all Disc 04. Probably because DDS2 has one of the best BGM out there. SHOJI MEGURO, WHY ARE YOU SO AWESOME. d=A=b
So after all the listening and fanorgasming, I got excited and loaded my DDS2 save data. I have already finished the game, but I haven't beaten all the optional bosses yet. I've defeated Shiva and Vishnu before, so I got around into beating Seth after like.. well, a year of not playing. Ugh, I feel the need to do a second playthrough. (Just so I can encounter Satan.)

Totally unexpected, where the hell did this come from, SUNRISE?! I had my volume on full-blast when Ribbons suddenly started "Come on, come on, come on... Je t'aime." until he was MOANING. Graham sounded like a complete pervert with a shota complex, but damn was it great acting. And Ribbons knew how to submit. Not really surprising, but still disturbing.
