Getting up to Speed with OpenLaszlo

Jun 19, 2008 10:02

Finally.  After a couple weeks of casual development in OpenLaszlo at work, I approach a functional handle on the platform.  I mention this today because I reached a milestone in understanding and implementing its XML-based data model in the Flash navigation banner needed for our new website.  With a proper separation of code and data, the web developers after me should have a much easier time with only updating an XML file instead of having to edit the front page's own HTML (scary).  I'll post the alpha version in the near future.

xml, javascript, openlaszlo, open source, programming
