Hey ho, piles of crap!
So, you know that stuff that sits around and never goes anywhere useful? I have accumulated candles over the years that I feel I should keep in the event of a blackout, but really don't foresee using, ever. While putting away and organizing Yule stuff I decided that all of the random candles and holders that I don't like and don't want are going into the box to be burned next winter solstice, as it is a festival of lights. Hah! Now they have purpose! I can burn them without feeling like I'm wasting resources and I don't have to decide whether or not to haul all that crap to the thrift store.
In other news, this apartment is slowly, but surely, being organized. There are still obstacles to surmount, like the filing system, but I feel that success is within my reach. As soon as this is done I shall start looking for a new place to live and I will move my stuff in an organized fashion!
