My dearest Tessa Bella has a charming little habit of washing her string when it gets dirty. I imagine only she knows exactly what constitutes a "dirty string," but whatever her criteria for judging such a state she has deemed my yarn as utterly filthy. It is now soaking in her water dish. I suppose I shall have to take it out to dry, for she only concerns herself with the washing of her play articles and will not stoop to performing the other duties of laundry day.
