54) The Scepter of Mercy: The Chernagor Pirates by Dan Chernenko, finished 6/22
Fairly enjoyable. Curious enough to finish the series but kind of getting annoyed at the main character going back on traits that made him redeemable compared to other characters.
55) The Negotiator Trilogy: Heart of Stone by C.E. Murphy, finished 6/24
Again, I love this author and I'm glad that there's two more books in this series. The heroine is a fun character and the supernatural side kick of choice of a gargoyle.
56) Embrace the Night by Karen Chance, finished 6/26
An author I often enjoy and the cast of minor characters including a ghost, a war mage and a vampire amuse me deeply.
57) A Quincey Morris Supernatural Investigation: Black Magic Woman by Justin Gunstains, finished 6/27
This was an author that came with high recommendations from Jim Butcher and I'm really glad I decided to read the book. The main character was a fun guy, the female side kick held her own and old family blood feuds are always good for amusement.
