Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak, for little Jadyn!
3) The last book I read?
Some crappy book my boss lent me. I'm currently working on Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife, a sequel to Pride and Prejudice. It's more like a romance novel, but still a fun read. After that, I'm reading Absolom, Absolom!, yet another Faulkner book to add to my list.
4) 5 books that mean a lot to me?
- the Bible, duh
- Chicken Soup with Rice by Maurice Sendak--this is the book from my childhood. Well, more like one of a thousand, but you know what I mean...
- Pride and Prejudice--I still get all giddy at those certain parts, and gosh, I must have read it at least 20 times
- this book I hallowed out and turned into a secret hiding place. It was one of my grandfather's books, and he didn't mind losing it to an art project
- Blueberries for Sal-- because I want to write books like Robert McCloskey
