Oh dear...
I may be about to get sucked into a new fandom.
I've watched the first two "Sherlock" series. Some good points, some poor points, but overall entertaining. Not so entertaining that I had any trouble waiting the two years for the new series.
I did feel a bit of interest in a ship. I'm not going to say yet since I don't want to spoil for anyone who's being good and waiting for the US airing. But similarly to my experience with "Harry Potter", certain visuals just grabbed me and wouldn't let go.
And now I'm seeing a bit of the same ship wars that the Potter fandom went through, with shippers for another pairing being all grumpy because they didn't get the same kind of fan service.
And I spent much of yesterday and today binging on fic over at AO3 and have two drabbles started and a plot bunny in my head.
I don't have *time* to do another fandom proper justice!
