I'm not saying that I *cried*, and I only saw the movie once, but I *think* the first meeting of the D.A., at the pub, quite moved me. Where Hermione proposes they get together and is quite solicitous of Harry's feelings ... he tells them what it's like fighting Voldemort, it's no laughing matter ... and then Luna speaks up, defusing the situation by asking about his Patronus.
Other than that and then the comedy of the D.A-avoiding-Filch sequence the movie didn't do much for me, but I seem to recall that the D.A. meeting went down pretty well.
Oh, and perhaps I *did* cry - some tears of laughter - when I witnessed the insipid single-sided peck that was supposed to be the most awesome kiss of awesomeness between Harry and Ginny in the sixth film? :-)
I agree that while a lot of the OotP movie disappointed me (I 'll complain in a later entry about Kloves leaving the script to someone else), the DA sequence was overall well done.
I can only imagine how painfully bad that kiss must be. Until such a time that the movie shows up on television and I don't have to pay to see it :-)
