It's Friday, I'm in love
I'm really considering skipping class, mainly because Sarah's not there. I like having my own classes, where I can whine at someone about how hard/mundane/irritating the work is and they won't know exactly what kind of work it is. It's nice to have something that's your own, you know? This quarter, I only have one of those classes, and I've missed a really insane amount of them due to the fact that the prof has no attendence policy and is pretty boring, to boot. History has an attendence policy, the prof is fabulous, and Sarah is there, giving me three reasons to want to go. But when Sarah's not there, it's like I feel I have permission to take a free day. I don't know why; I pretty much did it to myself, not wanting to disappoint my friends any further than I already have. It's a small way to go about it, but I do it anyway, 'cause of my living outside the shell feeling or whatever.
Tonight, I'm heading up to Waukegan to visit Ed, and have him look at my laptop. I have to call Kyuu and work something out with him, if he wants to head up that way tonight, and try to get Lowell to go, though I'm getting a vibe that reads "I'd rather just go home" as he's a lamer. <3 I think we might be hitting up Gurnee Mills -- I know Kyuu has interest in doing that -- and we will have to eat at some point, as food is goodly. I just don't want to stay up there until after midnight, 'cause I have to be at the store by about 7:30 AM to make my platters for the marathon tomorrow.
