Lazy Wednesday.

The ONLY productive thing I've done today is call a bride back that I forgot to last week. That's it. I would not count checking the voicemail and email as necessarily productive. I will be productive once this entry is done, that much I know. Life is just being overwhelming right now.

I should expect this. It is June. The past three Junes have been SWAMPED with things to do, and this year is no exception. I just have to get back in the groove of being able to handle it, I guess. I think I am PMSing as well, which never helps anything.

What also doesn't help is that both bosses are out of the office today. One is playing a concert in Wisconsin, the other has meetings all day. So I'm on a definite "the mouse will play" kind of deal. But I have to get out of that mode at least until lunchtime, so I can look like I got SOMETHING done today.

Our server on WoW was down last night, so there was no Arcatraz to be done. Boo! Perhaps we can do it tonight. I played one of my Horde alts but got kind of bored with it, truth be told. She's only level 15, and is woefully undergeared. I started playing her before I learned about the joys of proper gear and instances and what all. But she also has next to no money, having never done anything other than random quests, so there's not much I can do to remedy that fact. Perhaps I will try that when I get home after dress looking.

On the dress front, apparently my dress is going to arrive Tuesday next. This is great. I can go down there post-work, try it on, see if it looks muumuu-esque, and go from there. Here's hoping it's as perfect as I'm hoping, and that I don't need to buy any additional undergarments. I know I need to get a cool, chunky necklace and some shoes, and that's all I'd like to get, truth be told. Must be prepared for anything, though.

Invitations got delayed further by some miscommunication between Lowell's parents. It was kind of a frustrating situation over all. I am really going to have to sit down, figure out exactly what other things we need to know from his parents, and find some way to talk to them about it. What frustrates me about them (amongst other things) is that you don't ever get a straight answer from them. Well, unless they think you're wrong (which seems to be often), and then you get one. Most information I've gotten from them re: the wedding comes in bits and pieces, and a lot of it contradicts itself. Maybe if I do it all at once instead of when it comes up, it will help alleviate this problem. I don't know. But I've got to try something. Either way, we are ordering the invitations tonight, getting them overnighted when they are completed (so they will arrive sometime late next week), and then probably will have to priority mail the invitations to the sponsors in the Philippines. It'll all be good somehow.

Lowell made Sims of us on Sims 3 last night. I'm sure he will post about it sometime soon. We naturally used the money cheat and got a house with a sweet pool. I am game.
