I knew I would feel this bad today if I did what I had been saying I'd do: namely, drink copious amounts of open bar liquor at the All Join Hands event. To be fair, thought, I thought I'd be much worse off. Still, the thought of going in to the office to return phone calls and emails, prepare for rehearsal, call a random oboeist and hope for the best, and then twiddle my thumbs until the day is over is not one I relish. Such is life, I suppose. The boss is indeed sick and will not be in, so my calling in over a relatively minor hangover would not go over well.

I woke up around 4:00 this morning with bed spins. I was sick by 4:30, and back in bed not long after. I decided to watch the remaining three episodes of the Venture Brothers since I didn't think I'd be able to go back to sleep. I now have to watch season 3 in all its glory, because I really am a fan of this one as a whole. Plus, I need some new quotes.
