And thus we procrastinate.

Friday was frustrating but fun in the end. I left my credit card and driver's license at home when I left for the far south side, so I had no money for the lunch I was supposed to have with an old friend from Subway. She had been planning to treat me for my birthday anyway, so it worked out. We had a nice lunch and caught up, and it was great.

When we parted, I headed to Subway proper to wait for Kristi to return with her daughters, one of whom is my goddaughter. The two of us caught up then, too, and we played with the girls a little bit, too. I need to have some of that lot over sometime soon. It made for a nice day.

The evening was spent with Lowell in World of Warcraft, as we attempted to explore the few areas left on my map on Kalimdor. He was probably bored, but I had a good time. I now only have five areas to go. Yay!

We definitely bailed on the gym today and definitely are playing WoW right now. We'll get the grocery shopping done, and the random cleaning stuff, but methinks our souls have been stolen for the day.

You do not hear me complaining.
