One week until ACen!

This year is truly flying by. I've probably said this eight or nine times already, but when ACen is a week away and I'm only JUST realising, it really says something. Normally I'm anticipating the hell out of this week; it's usually my only "vacation", as it were. With the Cathedral work being so insane, however, it's not really a vacation at all. Because I'm taking the entirety of the convention off at the store, I can't lose any hours at the Cathedral. Plus, I wouldn't have been able to, what with everything that has to be done. I'm still generally looking forward to the whole thing. Trying to work the logistics, however, has been very tiring. Here's hoping it all works out.

Despite miscommunication and traffic woes, amongst other things, last night was actually rather enjoyable. Many of the abovementioned logistics were worked out, and now we have to present the plans to the populace, so to speak. We'll see how that goes.

I'm slowly but surely whittling down my list of things to do today. I have a cantor meeting at five which effectively kills an hour of my day, so I really only have about an hour and a half to get the rest of my list done. One thing can be left until six, when choirs start rehearsal, but otherwise, hour and a half. Thank God everything is going smoothly thus far. I am keeping my toes crossed.

I dressed for more springy weather than this. Now I feel somewhat foolish.

acen, weather and the state of the roads, worky
