YAY WHITE SOX!

There's this great feeling in the city today, even though the weather is hellish. Even though I will freely admit that I'm not the most enthusiastic Sox fan around, I have always been a fan somewhere deep inside, and this does affect even those of us who haven't been fans forever. We all wait eagerly for the announcement of a rally/party thing, we're planning to buy the world series shirts and memorabilia. I'm hoping to save up for an Iguchi jersey (like, a real jersey), because yay for Iguchi. I know I want a world series shirt, and one of the green hats, because those amuse me for some reason. Yay White Sox, and yay for all my friends who made it to the game last night. That *had* to be awesome and nerve wracking and fun as hell.

The noise around 18th and Peoria was pretty loud, but I was so gone on Tylenol PM that I barely noticed. Go me. XD

Now, to other matters.

I'm going to call my landlord's daughter tonight to set up a time to meet with someone and pay my first month and security deposit; hopefully, this will be late tomorrow afternoon. If this is so, I might even start moving some smaller stuff in then, just to save on time for Saturday and Sunday. My main decision to make is whether or not to *move in* fully this weekend. I mean, like, everything: fridge, stove, bed, alarm clock, the whole nine yards. If so, then I have to get electric and gas set up this week, and I barely have any time to be there for them to activate it, and I'll have to ask my mother to go there. But then at least I'd be away from that house.

Problem is, I'd still have to go to the house every night to check on things, to make sure the pipes don't freeze, etc. And I know I told Lovey and Aunt Trish that I wouldn't totally be moving out this weekend, and to be quite honest, I don't know if I'm really ready to totally move. Plus, I have to leave my dining room table and credenza there, and I don't want anything to happen to those. And if I stayed at home for a little while at least, I wouldn't have to be taking care of two sets of utilities and such. But I really don't want to be in that house for much longer. Dunno what to do. ><

I know what I have to do now, though, and that's study for BIO. I need to get at least a B on this test, or I am screwed. I was doing all right yesterday; we'll see if all that information stuck around.

random happenings, school, yay!
