It's gonna be a good week!
I am in Switzerland for the next 5 days and desperately want to get to the Swiss Alps and partake in some fine skiing at world renowned ski slopes of Zermatt.
I am getting really excited with some internet research I found out that there are no gas powered cars allowed in the town of Zermatt! I think this is very cool and can't wait to get there. The 4 hour train ride from Zürich is described as beautiful and scenic. I am sure they are not exaggerating. The Matterhorn is just a few miles away and am looking forward to seeing that as well. I just wish I had more time to explore. I am taking my video and still camera to hopefully get some great pictures!
The Skiing is on glaciers that allows year round skiing. The slopes are open at 9am and close at 14:30. At this point I am thinking about staying a night in Zermatt so I am not rushed and able to do some sight seeing to take in all the quaint town has to provide.
The weather is calling for rain Sunday but clearing by Monday. If need be I can wait for Tuesday for the weather to clear.
Somewhere I need to sample some fine swiss chocolates as well.
