I was sitting in the kitchen when all of a sudden the birds that were eating my newly spread lawn over seed took off like their lives depended on it. And it DID!

A Coopers Hawk came soaring in and landed on the back fence

That's pretty cool! I was thinking of stopping by Wild Birds untld. to get a bunch of feeders to attract different birdies for the kats to watch, but I don't know that they have something to attract these guys. Maybe if I put out a nice t-bone :)

I'll tell ya, Hawks and Falcons are some amazing birds. They are the sports cars of the feathered world. This picture came out very cool. some doves or pigeons will work good for Hawk food.
