On Tuesday morning we went to the company store to get ourselves copies of vista and office 2007. There was a decent turn-out, and we ended up waiting in line for about 10 minutes before we could get in. Do you know if Waterloo will be offering Vista for free like XP?

I didn't know Microsoft had a mentorship system. That sounds pretty neat-o!

I heard rumours, but I'm not sure. I think so though... I just didn't want to wait until I got back to campus because I wanted to use Office 2007 for my wtr! :)

Initially I like it, but I havn't used it enough or tried to do anything with tables, images or anything fancy yet, so my opinion isn't fully-formed.

No (since I don't really do anything that requires an office suite these days) but I attended a talk about it at a Stanford HCI class I was auditing and it sounds pretty cool.

Data/view separation is a really cool new feature in Word.
