Hello my name is Iva (Eva)...
thats how it got started a couple of days ago, and today it went to a meet at a cute little coffee shop on broadway in Portland. I think it may be the first step towards a good friendship, and its not a hardship to say that DAMN HE IS CUTE! Oh and he happens to be an engineer. How do I find these guys? Anyway, for the first time today I actually felt like Eric may just be behind me. But I am not so optemistic. I didn't realize how much that situation had an impact on me until recently. However I know why; for the first time in my life I was ready to give a part of me (something I value) to another person and had it just tosed back into my face. That hurts, but there are much bigger and bader things in this life that can hurt. And meeting new people helps get over the pain. So, there is Mark, and there is the ski club, and there is Portland. Life will be good again, and hopefuly along with me I can pull some other people out as well.
