1948 aerial map of Shanghai

I pulled and stitched the tiles and the Société d’Histoire des Français de Chine made a useful interface for this wonderful 1948 aerial map of central Shanghai, from Hongqiao to Tilanqiao and from Zhabei to Minhang. The map is analogous to the one at Tianditu 天地图 (minus the captions) but has two extra zoom levels:
