Remains of the Ancient Bell Temple
Passed here a million times on the walking tours of the Old Town, but never noticed these two “drum stones” peaking from the ground in front of the unassuming residences at 137 and 141 Wenmiao Road 文庙路137号,141号. In the past, they must have been flanking the gate of the Ancient Bell Temple (Duo An 铎庵). This discovery was made by Stoney Zhang (基诺 Genovision) and Xue Liyong 薛理勇.
