This entertaining map appeared on the pages of North-China Sunday News in February 1932. It shows the distance from the North Railway Station to Columbia Circle as similar to the distance between Regent's Park and Shepherd's Bush, or the distance between the French Bund and the central-western French Concession as equivalent to the distance between Oxford Street and Bayswater.
