The Russian poet Nora Krouk (Нора Крук)
passed away in Sydney, Australia, on 7 July. Last year she
celebrated her centenary! She was in Shanghai from around 1935 to 1957, and I cannot help rejoicing at the long and productive lives of these Shanghai Russians.
