Then and Now: Kiukiang Road 九江路 (1937-2013-2017)

1937. The sandbagged building in the center is the Overseas Chinese Banking Corp., to the left of it is a large parking lot, then goes the Ezra Building, and in distance, past the intersection with Kiangse Road, is the Sassoon Building (with the rounded corner):


2013. Even though the Overseas Chinese Corp. building is still standing, and the empty lot is still unbuilt, something terrible is about to happen to the Ezra Building:


2017. Ezra Building was completely destroyed, in spite of its heritage status:
