Momma didn't raise me to fail.

This may not come as a shock to many of you, and it may have already been assumed, but it's a big-deal revelation for me.

After I'm finished with Rival Schools, I will be producing Sharknife graphic novels on a yearly basis. No more random shit in-between volumes with uncertain releases on the book. Sharknife will be a dependable storybook. There are still vague plans for future PENG comics, but it will have to take a backseat for a while.

I feel greatly right now that I generated a shitload of energy in 2005, and now a year later, it is worn off, and on the verge of inverting. Sad, I know. It's probably not all my fault, there are many facets to this giant ghost machine. I wanted to do it all, and this year, I tackled much of it. This year I've produced a lot of work, basically somewhat removed from the soul, and not much that I can actually show (for whatever reason). The side-work also took away from my comic obligations, which sucked. Due to a lot of this, I've spent entirely too many hours staring long and hard into the great hollow precepice, and I don't motherfucking like it. After this work-for-hire is tied off, it's back to the love, the energy, and teh win.

Hopefully these late-night livejournal self-revelations will be less constant when I get back into Sharknife, as well :]

THANK YOU.
