Damn it, I hate Houston roads. I hate the construction. I hate the traffic that drives 75 mph through the construction. But mostly, I hate the road debris.

My new truck (bought it in May) has a hole in the door where a speeding semi flung some sort of road debris into the side of my truck.

I wonder how much this is going to cost.... :(

yowch T_T was it debris because of the construction? if so, you may be able to contact the DOT and have some of the cost offset?

did the debris bounce before it hit you? If it didn't and it came directly from the semi, then if you can remember the name of the company the semi is from, you might can contact their insurance. I vaguely remember this being the rule.. couldn't hurt to check, right? Even if it's road debris, I think it still counts.

nobody understands gridlock at 75mph until they get stuck in Houston and can't turn around until they get to Katy.

Like gala said contact DOT and the Semi company for insurance money. Even if it is just enough for the deduction on your insurance.
