Dear Journal,
I've finally settled down enough to write, and that's saying a lot considering all that has happened this week. First the potion, now Erik in the Hospital Wing? I've always known the Wizarding world to be a complicated place, but this is turning dangerous.

I can't believe they ambushed Erik! That was just disgusting. What happened to fair play anyway? Or maybe there never was such a thing.
One dirty Slytherin (I think he's about 6th or 7th year) just crashed our picnic. Hit Juhi with Rictusempra, and then cast a full body bind on me. Can you believe the nerve of these people? I can't, seriously. We've just as much right to be here as them. What makes them special? The fact that incest is not something to be embarassed about, but embraced full-force? My hair stands on end just writing about them.

I chickened out. I wanted to tell him so badly, but I'm just such a coward. Just how did I end up in Gryffindor, anyway?
