Old Testament
I'm currently reading the Old Testament. I've read the New Testament twice but this is the first time for the Old. Although I consider myself a fairly new convert, I wonder if I'll ever be able to remember any verses by heart or be of any help in converting a non-believer. I can only hope that I'll be a good ambassador for God. But even that is an uphill struggle.
Numbers 6:24-26 (New King James Version)
24 “The LORD bless you and keep you;
25 The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
26 The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.”’
Deuteronomy 4:29 (New King James Version)
29 But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Deuteronomy 15:11 (New King James Version)
11 For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.’
