Cats Speak Up on How to Be Creative

Mar 12, 2010 11:25

 Tiger: Ignore everybody.
Mocca: You have to find your own schtick.
Anon1: Sing in your own voice.
Miki: Power is never given. It is taken.
 Chilli: Keep your day job.
Momo: Nobody cares. Do it for yourself.

Mos Mos: Write from the heart.
 Anon2: Put the hours in.

Chocomi: The idea doesn't have to be big. It just has to be yours.
Anon3: The more talented somebody is, the less they need the props.

Anon4: Don’t try to stand out from the crowd; avoid crowds altogether.
Button: You are responsible for your own experience.

Yan Yan: If you accept the pain, it cannot hurt you.

Apparently, they've all been reading Hugh MacLeod's book, Ignore Everybody. More info at http://gapingvoid.com.

And if you have any themes to suggest for the cat comments, please do. I'm ironically running out of creative juices. Thanks!
