on other non work-related updates;
- attended my last French class two weeks ago, but not decided if i will continue even when my fave teacher comes back. it's so hard. but hey at least i can now read off a menu decently, and not end up ordering raw fish when i wanted chicken. i can recognize colours, numbers and turn left/right heh.
- am super hooked on korean dramas now, and for the first time in ages i had to re-experience how it felt to have to wait for subs! to think i was very resistant to korean dramas as i didn't like how rough the language sounded, but lately i'm beginning to feel less annoyed by all that heavy intonation. korean dramas are incredibly mind-numbing; i can barely think anything else when i'm trying to keep my eyes on LJG and read subtitles at the same time. LJG is <3! so yes, maybe i will go learn korean too haha!
- another translator job for this month! a one-day sake promotion event, hope things will turn out well. i really like doing these part-time stuff, so much fun and i get to converse in japanese so much that it feels as if i'm in japan again!
- speaking of japan, i finally nailed down the dates to visit Tokyo next March for the 15th anniversary live. scored a cheap air ticket, so i splurged and joined the international FC to ballot for the ticket. crossing fingers that everything pans out smoothly, and it's going to be a really short trip as i want to save up as much leave as possible.
