(no subject)
phew! it's been really hectic since my last post. a couple of pressing but damn sticky issues at work (causing me quite a bit of grief, actually). then a last-min email from the same organiser for last year's travel fair, asking for translation help that same weekend for another travel fair. the pay was pretty decent, so i took a day's leave and worked throughout the weekend and it became a twelve-day work-week yet again. the work wasn't tough, but standing non-stop for seven hours per day really killed my legs and feet. hard-earned money indeed!
can't seem to find the mood nor time and strength to get a whole bunch of stuff up on carousell. i've pretty much dumped or given away whatever i could, and now it's time to deal with those those that needs more work to find new homes. i'm trying hard to resist any more new buys until i get some of these stuff moving, but i'm not sure how long this determination will last hahaha.
it's starting to get difficult to find the motivation to continue with french. midway into my current term, and my teacher is going on a five-week long break to treat his back injury. i hope the replacement teacher will be good, as i've not had a good experience with two replacement teachers so far. else, i rather wait till he is back and then continue with the next term.
