it's really dangerous whenever work gets slow, because i'd end up with so much free time in the office that i'd keep checking out my usual shopping sites, and begin making excuses like how i could allow one last spree on dot.st because their sale is ending soon and i really wanna dress up nice for my november trip. or how i could splurge on a resale SS-seat for one show if i don't go for all five shows over three days i'm there. its all these frivolous thoughts that get me through most of the day, every single day.
but then i came across cat welfare society's online funding campaign, and everything got jolted back into perspective. why am i even thinking of impractical clothes that barely gets worn more than twice a year, where the same amount can go into food or sterilization for one more stray cat out there? immediately i donated the amount i had intended to spend at dot.st to their online campaign instead, and felt really good with my decision.
well, back to racking my brains over what to wear for the november trip with my existing stash. then again, if it gets real cold, who cares about being dressed fashionably? i'd rather just wrap myself tightly like a stuffed dumpling to keep stay warm.
