And in some real-life updates;
- Dealing with insurance and all their jargon is such a drag. An abrupt call from my current agent led to the realisation that I am actually holding two similar insurance policies omgwtf?!?!!? Long story short, I will have to continue servicing both policies until whatever I’ve paid matches the surrender value, and then I can decide if I want to close off one of the policy to get my money back. Well, on the bright side at least this is forcing me to save somehow!
- My instalment plan for Amore is finishing in April, can’t believe it’s been ten months already! Thanks to all the extensions I got for overseas travel, I can use my package until June. Maybe I’d renew during the GSS roadshow, hopefully I can press down the monthly rates to less than $100. The current offer is $108 but I’m sure the stiff competition from new gyms popping up in the area will make them budge further haha! i'm really glad i took the plunge to join last year. although i hadn't notice any significant weight loss, i do feel myself getting more toned-up and less prone to tiredness. it truly feels great to go for a workout to get rid of those pesky pent-up frustrations; be it due to work (or the lack of), family matters or simply just the urge to spend money recklessly. most of the time i will get so tired that all i want is to grab a quick meal and head home to sleep. long-term gains for a healthy body and a healthy wallet! :D
- Pre-sale dates for Takarazuka are approaching, initially I wanted to get the S-seats for all three shows, but that will cost me a staggering 6 x 8800 = 52800yen! So I spent a few days mulling over the seat selections, and decided that;
(1) For Cosmos Troupe / Rose Of Versailles, I will aim for level two A-seats (5500yen x 2 = 11000yen)
(2) For Star Troupe / The Sun King, I will aim for A-seats (6000yen x 2 = 12000yen)
(3) For Moon Troupe, I will aim for level one aisle S-seats (8800yen x 2 = 17600yen)
That will set me back like, 40600yen? Savings of 12200yen, good enough to fund the Napoleon dvd at least! In fact I may even just grab the 3000yen B-seats for the Star Troupe show; because it’s quite unlikely they’d adapt this supposedly popular French musical and play it only for two weeks in a small theatre in Shibuya. I have a feeling that it’d be played again at the main theatres next year, and I’d rather pay good money to watch at the bigger venues! Rose of Versailles is not in my top tier, am mainly watching it for the gorgeous costumes, the sets, and the fact that it is a Takarazuka classic after all so i think a level two A-seat will suffice. i'm most excited to watch Moon Troupe this time, i really like Masao alot and hopefully i can score level one aisle seats for the possibility of high-touch!!
- And it seems that December may be a no-go after all. According to Osaka friend, Glay's 20th anniversary live may not be in Tokyo Dome this December, and there're rumours circulating within the fans that the live will be held next Febuary instead. Which spells woe for me and Jun if the live falls right smack into the Lunar New Year week omgnoplznooooo!! But if the live is truly postponed to Febuary, then likewise I will skip the planned trip. Gotta be realistic with my money and annual leave!
