Tokyo 2011: Peace & Smile Carnival 7 Days in Shibuya CC Lemon Hall - 13/8 (Day Three)

Sep 02, 2011 20:47

....and now we are on Day Three!

Day Three: Opening Act (SuG); ダウト; Session act シンのひとりでできるもん(Vo.シン); Kra

My knowledge of SuG is very, very limited, the only guy I know is Takeru, and he is SUCH A CUTIE!!!! his eyes were big and sparkly, and his smile was so wide that it's literally “grinning ear-to-ear”, and his teeth were so neat and….. plentiful? LOL. On stage, he was like an Energizer-bunny hopping around in a strawberry-print hoodie and skull-print harem pants. VERY CUTE!!!

I can't recall what they sang anymore, so here's the setlist according to internet:

小悪魔Sparkling
Fast Food Hunters
☆ギミギミ☆
COAL NUMBER
Crazy Bunny Coaster
39Galaxy

most of the songs required jumping, waving, clapping and a minimal-bit of headbanging. They probably did four to five songs, tbh eventually they all sounded rather similar LOL.

Oh and I got very smitten with masato too, although he looked quite different IRL as compared to pics. The way he played was also not quite the usual kami-te style -action-packed, “i-am-too-sexy-for-your-pants” smug-ness. Instead he was graceful, shy, teasing, still alittle smug, but always with a smile on his face. SUPER ADORABLE! couldn't decide if I wanna slap or hug him. :p

this is closer to the masato i saw. still pretty, no? :D

Curtain-draw, next up is…. ダウト!

…. Which unfortunately all I can only provide is a photo. I have no idea what they sang, except they did their latest single Roman Revolution, and that's it. Visually they look good, especially Kouki. And they probably have the most niang bassist, cos I've NEVER seen a bassist who'd gyrate his hips, clutch his hair and purse his lips at the crowd. =___=

But of course, internet doesn't fail!

青天の霹靂
シャングリラ
サテライトTV

官能ロボット
蛍火
ROMAN REVOLUTION
バラ色の人生
DANCE NUMBER
鬼門

Curtain-draw, next up…….. Shin solo!

Shin was the only session act that performed solo, and OMG THIS PRETTY BOY CAN REALLY SING. He appeared onstage in a white-base printed yukata and sang his heart out. Three cover songs - 「金魚花火」 by Otsuka Ai, 「1000の言葉」 by Koda Kumi and 「桜坂」 by Fukuyama Masaharu. omg my heart went KYUUUUU!!! when he did that FukuMasa number -a sappy old-school love song and an eternal classic, coupled with Shin's lovely voice and unbelievably-handsome face. *DIES*

His MC was so sweet too! In a gentle tone, he said that the last time he stood onstage and sang alone was during middle school's bunkasai, and now he feels REALLY lonely to be onstage alone without the rest of the band. So when they first decided on this session act, he was really nervous about it and kept wondering if it'd turn out okay (maybe he's worried that the fans may not take it well or something).

Curtain-draw, finally…….. Kra!

….which again, I can only provide a photo and a single song title - 不思議世界からの招待状. but i was quite blown away by Keiyuu's voice and stage presence -powerful voice from a chibi guy?! Very much like TMR jyanai?! AND OHOHOH HOW COULD I FORGET YASUNO殿!!!! If there was any guy that could befit the -殿 honorific, it has to be Yasuno. I have never seen any Asian who could carry off honey-blonde hair so gorgeously, and his were all soft curls that bounced around whenever he moved! The way he drummed was also very…. unusual. Okay sorry for the lack of a better word choice, but it truly was something I have never seen before! I'm used to the very hageshii-style of drumming so when Yasuno twirled his pink drumsticks around and flicked off the drums in lightening speed it felt like, wah! Subarashii~! His style of playing really suit his image - sassy, princely, teasing, and most of all; so much fun!

setlist:

少年と空
不思議な世界からの招待状
恋の色彩とエレジー
カラスノマクラ
サァカス
artman
ショータイム
日曜日

Their MCs were funny like hell! the bassist just celebrated his birthday the day before, and he asked if anyone in the crowd didn't know his age, and went on to say that he's around the same age as ViViD's members (obvious fat lie) LOL. Keiyuu then teased him and said that although he looks young, he is really an oyaji LOL.

Keiyuu said that when they (think he meant all the bands) first met up to decide on the session bands, everyone went Huh?! At the suggestion of a solo Shin act. He said Ruki went EH?!, and everyone was kinda unsure how it'd turn out. finally he added “でもよかったじゃないですか?”. Then Yasuno quipped that while at backstage doing hair&make earlier, Shin was trembling in one corner over his solo-act, and he has never seen Shin so small and frightened before, just like a trembling rabbit. Theh Keiyuu interrupted;

Keiyuu: 僕と、どちがちっちゃい?
Yasuno: えっ?!
Keiyuu: シンと僕、どちがちっちゃいの?
Yasuno: お前、足が低いんだ!

Keiyuu retorted something in mock-anger, but was too fast and the gist of it was that it was Yasuno who's too tall, not him being too short, LOL!!!

And just like SuG, their songs had lots of waving/jumping/fist-pumping/mild-headbanging/clapping involved, but I was feeling drained so most of the time I stood/perched on the edge of my seat and ogled at Yasuno-dono. SHO BEAUTIFUL!

*DIES AT PRETTINESS*

….although when he spoke, I O_O-ed at his voice - HOW COME SO DEEP AND SO MANRY?! ;A;

When I tumbled out of the venue, I realized that I've watched eight bands in three days omfg!!! to say it was a visual-feast was an understatement - it was like being on a never-ending buffet binge or something. AND FOUR MORE DAYS TO GO!!!!!!
