omggg trip was so rushed i barely had time to think straight, but it certainly was one hell of an experience. the weather was so awful - and certainly dampened the fun at what would have been a mind-blowing awesome time at Ajinomoto Stadium. think i'd leave the srsly-epic live reports to a later date, here's a quick day-by-day of my whirlwind trip:

Day One:
- arrived at Narita Airport 7.20am. bought N'ex + Suica set, totally forgot to get the two-way version. =___=

- met up with Adelynn at Sakura Ikebukuro, and headed off to Harajuku. bought a blue-green striped blazer at Jeanasis, half-price~!

- didn't shop around Harajuku much as Adelynn wasn't keen on the stuff available. ate at Tenya, then made our way to Shinjuku for OIOI.

- i bought nothing, but Adelynn grabbed six agnes.b bag charms, a black suit blazer and a grey skirt. think she found her 居場所  haha!

- parted our ways at Shinjuku station, i went back to Ikebukuro to get the foodstuff for friend staying at Ogikubo. was so tired that i boarded a bus to Nakano, slept throughout and changed Chuo line to Ogikubo. RAIN. waited for friend to bring me and Jun's online Rakuten loot(which included Fancl, a black loli-dress, Crocs and a pannier), ate at Starbucks, then trained back to Ikebukuro.

- went over to Adelynn's room to help her pack luggage, then braved the rain to Family Mart for oden. one of our plastic umbrellas was stolen by a shitty-looking 黒服 hanging outside the store.

- finally crashed out at my hostel bed at..... 1am. =____=

Day Two:
- woke up and promptly checked out to meet up with Esther at House Ikebukuro. she was already there by the time i arrived! slacked around abit, then went off to Harajuku.

- ... did i mention how much i LOVE the new iCon chicken? it is BLOODY NICE. the oozing oil and juices are just so heavenly!

- AND WE STARTED SHOPPING! hit the usual stores, i got a pair of black RHS and this frilly skirt-shorts from Bodyline. the RHS were surprisingly light, very comfy and easy to walk in! then got a Gramm character bag at Closet Child! it was utterly cute, very roomy and so huggable! made our way to the h.Naoto store, Esther SHOPPED hahaha! now there's also tax refund at h.Naoto, so it took abit of time for the staff to fill out the forms and do the tax refund.

- trained down to Shinjuku, and headed for Closet Child. no loot for me, then we moved on to OIONE! eventually we caved in at Super Lovers, and each got a really cute blue/pink leopard-print poncho with hoodie and nekomimi! there was an additional 10% off for two items purchased, so yes VERY GOOD BUY mwahahaha! the shop staff guy was incredibly gay, and super gek-cute. kinda annoying, but really funny as well.

- settled our tax refunds, ate ramen and then headed back to Ikebukuro. popped by Closet Child, but nope no more loot for me.

- we had to meet with another four more girls to discuss on the Laruku lives, so we made a quick stop at the Swimmer store at Ikebukuro station, and i bought the cutest sky-blue sneakers with colourful rainbows at the front, and for only 2835yen!

- finally plonked ourselves at the Macdonalds we were to meet, thankfully everyone made it on time and we began to discuss on our plans.

- parted ways, and as we were waiting to cross the road, we were nampa-ed by hosts - one black hair megane-kun, and one tanned kinpatsu. Esther replied "No sorry......" in English, black megane-kun went:"あっ, sorry の感じか......where are you from?". i was really shocked as he carried on conversing in simple English, and eventually went "you want to go drink?". what, even now hosts are bilingual to cash in on the tourist dollar?! Esther just kept going "No, no", and it started getting alittle worrisome as we began to cross the road and megane-kun followed. luckily mid-way he turned back as we quickly walked off. we then made a mental note, not to walk down the stretch of road on our way back again. i know Ike is rather seedy at night, but this is the first time i encountered a host who's this sticky.

- showered, then braved the rain again out to a Family Mart for oden! again, my plastic umbrella was stolen, so i just nonchalantly picked one from the rack and quickly walked off. but it still felt kinda unsettling to see so many of the 黒服 hovering outside the store.

Day Three and Four
- to be updated. IT WAS SUPER EPIC.

Day Five:
- woke up at 5.30am for my 6.43am N'ex to the airport. after a long flight, transit at KL and some delay, i finally wound up home at 10pm. =______=

there were alot of elements in this trip that totally threw me out of my usual comfort zone. it was definitely a good learning experience, and now i know that i really REALLY need to have enough shopping time. am feeling rather grumpy right now that i couldn't make it to my usual haunts, even though i have nothing particular in mind to buy. had no time to tabulate expenses, but i reckon that my entire expenditure (incl accom, transport, food and shopping) did not exceed 60000yen, which means i have more spending "bullets" for summer sales in August! yay!!!

and oh here's a shitty print-screen of my loot (excluding the Jeanasis jacket):

the RHS are so comfortable! shall get a pair in red when i'm there again in August! and aren't the Swimmer sneakers just adorable?! think i'd change to darker-pink shoelaces, the pastel pink is alittle too much for me.

bodyline, harajuku, shopping, shinjuku, h naoto, japan, tokyo, travel, laruku
